Prudence Leung Music Studio, Richmond BC
Prudence Leung is a devoted piano teacher and pedagogue with over 25 years of teaching experience. Her students have consistently achieved first class honors with distinction in RCM examinations. Some of them are winners of the RCM Gold medal (formerly named Silver medal) and BCRMTA trophy for achieving the highest mark in British Columbia, as well as frequent winners of prizes, scholarships and trophies at National competitions (CMC) and major local festivals. Some of her senior students have gone on to study music and music education at prestigious institutions such as University of British Columbia and University of Victoria.
Prudence’s piano lessons are tailor made to each student’s strengths and weaknesses to ensure the most effective results. Lessons focus on teaching students to appreciate the meaning of repertoire as well as performing them with emotion. Prudence also offers piano pedagogy lessons to mentor and guide the next generation of teachers. To expand students’ performing experience and exposure, Prudence provides her students with a variety and wide range of performances from studio recitals to concerts with local orchestras.
